It's Arrived!

Remember when I told you about the Art House Co-op sketchbook project I signed up for?

Well, It's arrived!

I'm super excited to see what I come up with. The theme is "This is where I live".

Illustration Friday - Rescue

Someone needs to rescue these poor ballerinas.

I had started with this magazine collage just a few minutes before I got the new theme for the week. All it had was the boat and background. It was a perfect starting place! I completed it in, oh, probably about an hour and I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Here's a painting I am working on for our bedroom. It's about 2'x4' in acrylic.

There's no telling how many times the colors will change!

Spring Break - Project #2

Our dog Lucy loves her pillow bed. But she also loves to chew. The original one we bought was ugly green colored fleece and just begged Lucy to chew it.  Like she couldn't help it. So we bought a thicker cotton and I made a new pillow cover for her that would be less tempting to chew on. And the cream/white color matches our place better.

Even though it's our dog bed, our cat Molly loves it too!

(Please ignore the stuff on the fireplace and the big yellow collar. She got spayed last week and started irritating the stitches. Why can't they make it clear?)
