We've talked about contour, implied, expressive, gesture, and continuous line.
Here's my version of what their finished product with continuous contour line should look like.

My students are 14-18 years old (high school). I never thought of an Etch-A-Sketch being a continuous line! Wow. I might have to go garage sale-ing looking for some to put in my classroom! Yeah, teaching art is a blast (most days :)
ReplyDeleteYour drawing looks great Nikkie! Brings back the good old days of teaching high school! I actually did have a collection of old Etch-a-sketches in the classroom...it really brings the continuous line idea home! I hope you have a great semester!
